In it's 72-year history, every game in #NBAFinals history has had one thing in common. They've all been played in the United States. Thanks to the @Raptors win in Game 6 of the ECF, that changes as of Thursday when they host Game 1 of the 73rd #NBAFinals vs. the @warriors.
Much like Game 3 of the 1992 World Series was for @MLB and the World Series (when the @BlueJays hosted the @Braves), Game 1 of the 73rd #NBAFinals will mark the first time the @NBA's championship round will be played north of the border, in Toronto. #NBAFinals
And as we know, the @BlueJays would go on to win that World Series, the first of two consecutive World Series titles for the Blue Jays. Only time will tell whether the @Raptors, understandably the heavy underdogs vs. the dynastic @warriors, can repeat that TOR history. #NBAFinals
