1 / Looking at my notifications, I saw this 🔽@DavidNeiwert is one of my favorite journalists, my go-to source for all things far-right and domestic terrorist. @Twitter suspended his account today.

4/ Why did @Twitter suspend his account? I don't know. It just showed up like this. Recently, @Jwheels208 , who had another account with over 30K followers, an anti-racist activist, had his @Twitter account suspended.
5/ The bullshit argument was that a tweet he posted two years ago violated copyright laws. This is, of course, bullshit: if you accidentally publish something with a protected song on the background, you are contacted by the copyright owner to try to get free publicity from you..
6/ Giving you the options of letting them use your account for publicity, being sued for thousands of dollars or taking the content down. I always take the content down. @Jwheels208 wasn't given this option.
7/ Less than 2 months ago @Jack Dorsey, @Twitter CEO, met with trump. Mind you: trump had been on a systematic campaign of threats against social media platforms with the argument that they were biased against conservatives.

8/ We know this is absurd. But since the meeting, right-wing accounts enjoyed a much more hospitable environment and progressive accounts have been mysteriously suspended, like David's and Jimmy's. @mcspocky was another mysterious case.
9/ A few days ago, @facebook announced that it will sponsor trump's convention. Well: it will keep supporting conservative voices, that's what this means. If this is out of fear of retaliation or because it is profitable as hell, it really doesn't matter.

10/ What matters here is that there are signs that all platforms are complying with the conservative agenda even more than before. The impact this may have on the next elections or policy-making moves is unpredictable.
11/ But be assured: you are not writing on neutral ground.

1/ "Oppo-research" - interesting phrasing, but I'll take it. Although most of my life I analyzed other types of data, I did conduct political analysis in the context of a campaign. There are different types of services and products. Let me tell you what mine consisted of.
2/ Everyday I watched the opponent's TV advertisement. In Brazil, during elections or referendums, there is a period when one hour of TV broadcasting is exclusively for candidates' "message". So I watched and identified the chief arguments.
3/ There were two steps on "oppo-research" and "oppo-deconstruction":
A - fact check all the facts upon which the "oppo" argument is built
B - discourse analysis and logical deconstruction

Twitter seems to be banning or suspending accounts belonging to critics of the Chinese government. It started yesterday May 31th. Here is one report - I noticed a sudden loss of followers yesterday, I checked, it was mainly China critics. Twitter❤️🇨🇳 Amazing! @mouse @1GigiSims
This is happening as an effort to silence #China critics ahead of the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, which is next Tuesday. Twitter is helping China do its dirty work to silence the legitimate opposition. Twitter has hit a new all time low! 👎👎👎
One other possibility that can't be discounted is that the #Chinese government is hacking into Twitter and is deleting the accounts of Chinese critics. I did hear reports in the past, that Chinese hackers were able to get into Twitter & do that.

2) As Christians, our call is to give our lives for our Muslim neighbors, to protect and serve them. And today, we grieve with them. We must also not just reject violence, but we must also deplore/reject the hate-filled rhetoric and bigotry that fuels this violence globally.
3) Primary disposition that Jesus calls us to in relation to others is to love your neighbor as your self and love and pray for even your enemies. There has been WAY TOO MUCH anti-Muslim and anti-“other” rhetoric allowed/encouraged. We must take a stand and radically love.

Today,Sadly @Twitter suspended my account after members of cult-like #MEK terror Org reported me because I had criticized violation of Women's Rights in #MEK's camp in #Albania. They also threatened me to death this afternoon. #MEK & #Iran's Islamic Regime are two sides of a coin
#MEK's political wing, #NCRI which is falsely claiming to be secular is forcing its female soldiers to wear Hijab even during their rally in #Paris on 30/06/2018. Speaking about #MEK's violation of women's rights make its leaders angry. This is why #MEK is unpopular in #Iran.
#MEK is being financially supported by #KSA in-order to start a civil war in #Iran similar to what is happening in #Syria now. But hopefully can't because official surveys held by Iranian opposition groups show the group is 2nd most hated Org. after the Islamic Regime in #Iran.
