CoreCivic is getting nervous AF about the increasing number of big banks that have publicly committed to not provide any future loans to the for-profit prison giant.
CoreCivic admits in a new SEC filing that "these decisions have currently affected the capital markets 4 [their] securities, & [they] can't provide any assurance that add'l banks [... won't] make similar decisions [...] or that the captl markets 4 [their] securities will improve"
CoreCivic goes on to note in the SEC filings that "While [they] believe [they] will continue to have access to capital, restrictions on [CoreCivic's] access to capital could have a material adverse effect on [their] business, financial condition and results of operations."
CoreCivic keepin' it classy by boasting about the fact that privatization allows the gov 2 avoid paying into employee pension plans

Am I reading this correctly? Did GEO really just calculate the fair market value of its stock options based on assumed volatility of more than 40%?

Based on the amount of info GEO has added 2 their SEC filing about risks stemming from 3 pending class-action suits, I'd venture 2 guess that analysts were spot-on when they cast doubt on GEO's ability 2 cover litigation expenses & fines stemming from the co's human rights abuses

4 a co that spends so much time insisting they haven't played a role in fam separation & detention, CoreCivic sure does use a lot of ink quietly bragging 2 investors that they can still detain families in their South TX fam detention facility (Dilley) while GEO [competitor] can't
