The group that was the precursor to and later became the Council on Forgein Relations had it’s first meeting on
May 30, 1919 at the Hotel Majestic in Paris France.
Plans for both the British Royal Institute for International Affairs and the American Council on Foreign Relations were drawn up during the Paris Peace conference of 1919.
RIIA and CFR are in actuality sub-branches of the Rhodes-Milner Round Table.
The interior sets for Stanley Kubrick’s Overlook Hotel in his film, The Shinning, were based off of the The Ahwahnee Hotel which is now called The Majestic Yosemite Hotel.
