The investment of some folks in appearance as a determinant of human value is amazing. This is why #bodyneutrality & #bodyposi (to a different extent) are so important for us. 
If I was a less confident person, more invested in fitting into social norms, these comments are my weight & appearance would be so hurtful. Instead, in this moment of my life, I marvel at the ppl who seek to insult & harm others for existing in our bodies as is, without shame.
My engagement w/ these assholes began bc one took umbrage at my reference to white people as a generalization. I digitally rolled my eyes & then this began with the original troll & two troll friends. I let myself get sucked in too long. Toxic oppressive energy is contagious.
My queer family is coming over in an hour for a little day trip together. There are days where social media engagement is fun or feels productive but at times it’s just a reminder of how many people want me to hate myself for being who I am.
In those moments, I return to the world of flesh & blood friends who are deeply engaged with me in making the world liveable for those of us on the margins. With them, I remember what matters. Enjoy your Sunday, bbs.
