1/ @wakeywakey16 reports that the "Senior PA official" in the September 14th memo of the dossier is most likely the Russian CIA source (Oleg Smolenkov).
2/ Of interest, @JohnBrennan briefs the White House of Smolenkov's "intelligence" in early August then, if Wakey is correct, this intel winds up in the dossier in September. Who is the trusted compatriot middleman? washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/…
3/ Brennan or other US/UK officials are suspects. However, around the time Steele penned his September memo, he met with Michael Gaeta and his FBI team in Rome to discuss his reports. Could've Gaeta been trading information with his CHS Christopher Steele? theguardian.com/news/2017/nov/…
