Explosions and firing reported across Buqayq (Abqaiq) in #SaudiArabia

Facilities of #ARAMCO have seen explosions.

NOT SURE THIS IS RELATED...BUT...

Saudi Aramco is gearing up for what could be the largest IPO ever in the world.

The exact reasons and perpetrators of these incidents are not yet known.

There could be multiple reasons and causes for this.

Hearing from Sources in #Saudi that the military obviously is on a very high alert.

The southern military bases are going through readiness checks.

"27 February In a series of predawn raids sparked by the attack on Abqaiq, Saudi security forces killed five unnamed militants (in Al-Yarmouk) and captured another (in Al-Rawabi). In addition, three people were killed by the police at a vehicle checkpoint. "

Initial reports indicate that the checkpoint incident was a mistake, as those killed were Filipino guest workers.

26 October Security services announce the arrest of 44 Saudi nationals in Riyadh, Al-Qassim and Hail.

2nd December : Security services announce the arrest of 136 Al-Qaeda suspects, including 115 Saudi nationals. Calling the arrests "preemptive," they claim that at least one cell of militants were on the verge of making a suicide attack in the Kingdom. "

Again. All these are probable reasons for what's happening today.

We are yet to get an official release from the government.

Some say it could also be an inside job.
