Note that FOX called the right-wing guy (with NO doctorate) a “healthcare expert,” but apparently, an MD, PhD like me is merely a “Democratic strategist.”🤷‍♀️

Pretty sad that FOXNews didn’t even understand their OWN #poll in which TWO-THIRDS of Americans favor EXPANDING #Medicare with the “public option” that allows anyone under age 65 to buy in.🤣

Also, before the #ACA (also known as #Obamacare, which is a law not insurance) became law, women paid twice as much as men for health insurance, pregnancy was a #PreExistingCondition, mammograms and PAP tests were out-of-pocket expenses and 60M Americans were uninsured.
The #ACA has expanded #Medicaid in many states, created the healthcare marketplace which shows people a range of options within their states for affordable healthcare & it has saved millions of lives.
ACA will still be law after #M4A because it's essential healthcare protection.

#Healthcare is a fundamental human right. In 2018, our legislature helped to ensure that right by expanding Medicaid. As of today, nearly 250K Virginians have enrolled in the program and now have access to quality healthcare.
This is what happens when we elect Democrats who are tenacious and unwilling to accept the status quo. But we still have work to do. We still have an opioid epidemic that is devastating communities and major improvements that need to be made to our mental health care system.
Last week, I was happy to visit one of our local facilities and have a great discussion with physicians and staff about these issues; we even tackled the benefits of community health.
