A suggestion #FBPE. Next time you hear "remainers blocked #Brexit" or "remainers in charge stopped #Brexit", ask a simple question.

Which Brexit solution that was consistent with the mandate from 2016, did remainers prevent?
How did remainers prevent Northern Ireland solutions?
And No, No Deal is not part of the mandate

You can't add something by omission to a mandate (Magna Carta)
Wasn't promised in any 2017 General Election manifesto (Tory manifesto was a quote, not plan)
Pamphlets don't beat bills or MP advice, they knew what they were voting for...
and No remainers didn't undermine No Deal Negotiations, No Deal did that. It's left us weak and looking like we have no options.

NOT speculation.

We know that due to Canada failed FTA
And S.Korea almost failure until we agreed to EU Terms (and yes, that alone is Vassal State)

Trade 2. Commonwealth EMOTION.
The belief is EU suppresses trade with the Commonwealth. Don't know, once you exclude individual negotiations with Canada/Aus/India, that the EU gives most of the Commonwealth tariff-free access to the EU. Instead, leave means going backwards.

Laws. Will we have more control?

No. Categorically not

We will have no more or less ability to set British law after "independence"

Nothing will change. We'll just have more work and a less efficient state and we'll struggle to influence international stuff like air pollution.
Borders
Looking like less control. At one time we were throwing them wide open with no controls. We still are in NI.

We wont put visas in for EU because we don't want them for our citizens. So borders. Nothing changes with #BritishIndependence

Numerous bright & articulate anti no dealers come on telly and get attacked by brexit supporters (whether MPs, commentators or the public) for "blocking Brexit"

Why do they never shut this down with "but Brexit MPs voted to stop Brexit!"
2) the oversimplified view is "get #Brexit done"

The reality is - which brexit? Because brexiters can't decide on one

So May's deal was Brexit, it stopped free movement, it had the red lines

The ERG voted against it, they voted against Brexit
3) now as remainers we all know why the hard brexiters hate May's deal, and as a Remainer I hate it as well.

But the point is, it *was* Brexit, and the hard brexiters *did* vote against it, and if they hadn't, we'd have left by now

There is a principal issue underlying the case that poses a simple question: is a lawful, free and fair vote one of the constitutional requirements of the UK? It's asked after 2 Electoral Commission (EC) Reports found that illegality & corruption dogged the ref campaign. /2
Let me make this clear. The EC findings were to the criminal standard of proof (beyond reasonable doubt) & serious offences were committed by the designated campaign for leaving the EU (& others), in breach of the statutory framework established by Parliament for the ref. /3

While we're all waiting on primary results, I'd like to push back against the (misguided) talking point that Democrats either don't have a message or aren't running on the issues.
This criticism is the flip side of the other common talking point--that Democrats are tied to unpopular national views/leaders and can't relate to their districts. Sometimes, we're accused of both, which is particularly fun.
As part of an organization working with candidates across the country and in all different offices, I get a view of a wide variety of campaigns and I can confirm that they are all different, but they all share one common view: They are running to make things better.

God knows why I bothered. Remainers have clearly learned nothing when it comes to persuading wavering Leave voters.
If it was nothing else at all, the EU referendum showed us that a significant group of British citizens are capable of understanding that an action may carry short term risk and even medium-term uncertainty or even personal sacrifice, yet still be the right decision.
Many of the most prolific Remainers (at least on social media) are quite unable to look past the potential disruption to their own private lives and so don't seem to understand this, but some of their compatriots voted for reasons besides personal financial gain.
