Another Lab source says that departure of Karie Murphy also tips balance away from those in LOTO office keen for election now (hers was strong voice for that with Milne). Now McDonnell in ascendancy who is more sceptical...

Sense I’ve got is much of PLP would prefer PV to an election and are telling the whips exactly that.
