Hi @bbcpress. I'm a Guardian journalist and columnist. Describing me as a "Labour activist" - when most of the British press can accurately be described as Tory activists (which you don't call them) - after I'm attacked shows a grotesque level of bias. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-500047…
Oh, and I do all sorts of activism - anti-austerity, anti-Trump, anti-war, Remain and Reform, and so on (eg they could have called me “anti-fascist activist” if they were going down that route).

Most of the British press has a partisan pro-Tory position, and a bitter, militant opposition to Labour. But it’s striking that only the marginalised dissenters within the media are singled out for their politics - including when they’re attacked in the streets.

Oh, if @BBCNews want to open an article describing me as "journalist and activist", that's fine. That is what I am, after all. Starting an article without describing my literal job description is completely and utterly absurd.
