One has to wonder what the British forces based there make of all this.
7 days ago they were working with the Kurds fighting ISIS. Trump didn’t inform or warn UK of change of policy so UK forces cld only watch as their allies were executed & ethnically cleansed around them.

One of the reasons the Turks could overwhelm the Kurds so easily is the original US no fly-zone deal with Turkey was dependent on the Kurds agreeing to dismantle their air defences.
So when Trump sold out the Kurds...the Kurds were defenceless & could be slaughtered from sky.
