Turkish President Erdogan seems to have sold to president Trump this plan (above), along with the promise to take over ISIS prisoners. It obviously ticks a few boxes for Trump

White House accepts that Turkey will invade the rest of northern Syria, and the US will stay out of it.
Amateurs in the SDF tried to be smart and threatened to release captured ISIS fighters. It was clear they could not do that, and Erdogan used that against them

As per the report MO of foreign PE firms like KKR is to borrow money from Indian Banks at 8-9% and then lend it to Indian businesses at a whopping 20-25% - the high rates of interest makes it difficult for native business to survive or remain profitable to repay the lenders.
KKR is the second largest foreign PE investor in #CCD with 6.07% (1.28 crore shares) after selling approx 4.25% in Feb 2018, making at the time 10.3%. Foreign investors together hold 22.35% stake in #CafeCoffeeDay valued at Rs 724 crore.

1) Raphael Lemkin, known as the father of the Genocide Convention, rejected the terms "Barbarity", "Mass murder", "Denationalization", "Germanization", "Magyarization" and many others to depict Hitler's attempt to annihilate the Jewish population.
2) He wanted a word that would - according to @AmbPower44 in her book "A Problem from Hell" - "connote a practice so horrid and so irreparable that the very utterance of the word would galvanize all who heard it". To Lemkin words mattered. So he came up with the word "Genocide".
