He can’t even do this right. He’s a buffoon, a global laughingstock.
All he had to do was read a three-minute statement that simply stated the facts (without operational detail), gave credit to the military intelligence services, topped off with some patriotic notes, without any self-aggrandizement—and he would have blown people away.
He’s deranged and dumb. It’s just that simple.
