You know, from what I can see, it is the trend difference. I have NOT heard of a single Alt Media or activist site supported by people here in #Turkey. By that I mean: I have not heard/seen a single Turk actually donating to causes like this. In stark contrast to #USA
I know it is going to sound like a talent agency, but I keep looking for ways to get great works like this taken up by English outlets and translated-Disseminated to the Western Audience.

Chinese Communist Party rule is increasingly authoritarian & less respectful of human rights & they are beginning to export some of these tools such as facial recognition software & nationwide surveillance capabilities to other countries who are learning from China's model.

Over the past 20 years, China has made tremendous progress in improving its military capabilities, but its modernization program will remain a work in progress in the decade to come.
China trails the US in terms of nuclear attack submarines, aerial refueling & amphibious capacity. Beijing will continue to develop its capabilities on these fronts, but based on current projections, it will not reach parity with the US by 2030.

The legitimacy of the #CCP regime under Xi is based on the twin pillars of economic growth and nationalism. For the party-state, unifying the mainland and Taiwan is critical to its aspirations of national rejuvenation and erasure of national humiliation.
Why would PRC force a unification as early as 2021? 1) 2021 is the centenary of the #CCP; anniversaries and dates have massive symbolic importance in China's political culture. 2) Xi wants unification to be part of his legacy. This is the only way that he can outshine #Mao.

1) What is Trump's ultimate game? RECIPROCAL TRADE & INVESTMENT. Pissed off about higher tariffs vs the US & non-tariff barriers. Regarding #China 🇨🇳, doesn't like forced tech transfers, Chinese industrial overcapacity, gov subs. But how to get this? Investment+Trade policy
2)Implemented #taxreforms that impacts 50% of global FDI stock & favors US as a destination; USD2trn of REPATRIATION of funds, lower retained earnings of foreign affiliates; higher INVESTMENT in the US b/c of expensing, re-shoring of manufacturing. Basically, good for earnings💪
