Thread: A question for the 1% and the Establishment: How do you think this will end?
It’s obvious the current system is not sustainable. The impacts of climate change and the tech revolution will be speed the end of the current system.

There are no viable or durable solutions to these problems that don’t require a redistribution of wealth and resources. Ultimately we will be end up with a system that is dramatically fairer and more inclusive.

The question is how we get to it? Even though in democracies, you the elite have the most political power.
Do we get there democratically and non violently by you allowing challengers like Corbyn and Sanders to win fairly and be allowed to start the process of change?

Or do you carry on as now and you throw all you can to stop these challengers fairly winning power?
If they somehow manage to get into power will you allow them to democratically change things? Or will you use any means to undermine them..

...and to get them out of power, legally or not, as you’ve done in Latin America?
If this change doesn’t happen democratically, it will happen the other way. Yes, you will use the all seeing security states to try and protect you.

But history and basic maths tell us that a battle of the 99% versus the 1% will only be won by the overwhelming majority. It may take time but that’s how it will end. If it doesn’t happen democratically, the alternatives aren’t pretty.

The anger and political shocks we see now are nothing as to what’s coming down the road. Without change they will get worse, angrier and violent.
Those of us who believe in getting this change democratically won’t be help to able you. We too will be outnumbered then.

Today you still have a massive say in how this goes. The more times goes on, you won’t.
So 1% folks, time to start thinking about how you want this to end. The destination isn’t in question, what state you’re in and IF you get there is.
