Next to Clayton Christensen, the author that influenced me the most to think about trends, innovation, disruption, growth w.r.t to investing is @adam_hartung🙏

I find Adam and his blog to be incredibly forward thinking that delves into the above topics, along with market shifts, growth stall and it's danger to (change resisting) Companies and their investors.

Few of my favorite posts over the yrs in below thread. 👇
Epic call on making a bull case for $NFLX in Oct-2011 when it was around $10-$15 in the midst of Quikster debacle.

Apr-2012 post on how every company needs to be a Tech company and also praising $FB on the Instagram acquisition (one week after it was done, when most of the Media was focusing on the $1B price-tag).

Dec-2018 post on the continued importance of FAANG companies and making a bull case in the middle of the draw-down for those Co's.

One of the worst things we can do as an investor (in individual companies) is to keep our thinking/thesis static and not considering the current, evolving trends, competitive factors and their impact on your holdings.
Reading Adam's blog over the years made me think much harder about these and other qualitative factors and not fall into the statistical value traps of the companies that are ending up on the wrong side of innovation.

So grateful for that. 🙏
