Iran announced today that it will no longer abide by the limits put in place by the #IranNuclearDeal. We don’t know all the details yet but this much is clear: this is serious and it’s entirely Donald Trump’s fault. Here’s what you need to know 👇
The most important thing to remember is that the #IranNuclearDeal was working, and Iran was complying —- and then Donald Trump violated it. Trump shredded it when he announced that the U.S. was leaving it in 2018.
Since taking office, Trump and his war cabinet have been doing everything they can to provoke a war with Iran. They have continued to escalate tensions, stoke fear, and spread misinformation.
Today’s announcement DOES NOT mean that Iran is rushing to develop nuclear weapons. It also doesn’t mean that Iran is pulling out of the deal entirely. Iran is responding to US escalation and Trump’s assassination of Maj. Gen. Suleimani.
This was entirely avoidable. Trump is to blame. He has manufactured yet another crisis. Here's what you can do right now: Call your MoC and tell them #NoWarWithIran. Offices open up tomorrow morning. Light up those phones.

#Iran’s #oil Minister, Zangeneh: “the new discovery had added 22 billion barrels of crude oil to previous estimates of the field.”
- The newly-discovered oilfield in Khuzesan was named Namavaran, adding the field had an oil in place estimate of 53 billion barrels.#OOTT #OPEC
- The field was estimated to hold53 billion barrels of crude oil in place and there is a possibility of its southward continuation.

- exploration activities began in2016 and given that 31 b barrels were previously discovered,22 billion barrels were added to previous estimations.
- Assuming 10% recovery rate in the field, 2.2 billion barrels of crude oil have been added to the country’s crude oil production capacity.

-This is the second largest oilfield discovered in Iran following Asmari Oil Layer in Gachsaran with 54 billion barrels of oil in place.

Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari has issued a warning to foreigners & company employees to leave certain areas in anticipation of potential strikes.
In other words, Donald Trump is waiting for the Khashoggi-murdering, Yemeni baby-genociding Crown Prince MBS (who is also the Saudi Defense Minister) to tell the American Commander in Chief what to do? Trump knows all this is BS. But if fits perfectly into Israel's Iran plans.

1/ #Iran announced it has exceeded the allowable limits of low-enriched uranium as outlined in the #IranNuclearDeal. It has threatened to escalate further next weekend.

What should happen next?
2/ The U.S. and the remaining parties to the #IranNuclearDeal should not overreact.

#Iran's breach is very limited and reversible.
3/ #Iran is not rushing toward a bomb.

If this were the case, we would see the Europeans, #Russia and #China begin activating the deal’s adjudication process and snapping back sanctions. They are not.

So the @StateDept uses taxpayer money to fund online attacks on @HRW because the organization is researching the human cost of US sanctions in #Iran.

Is this even legal?
“Iran Disinformation Project” website says it was launched in 2018 and is funded by @StateDept Global Engagement Center to expose disinformation coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
