This is a little jewel of both-sides-ism in the New York Times endorsement 
Comparing Sanders, a decent human being who respects the law and the institutions of American democracy, to Trump, a criminal and vulgarian who is busy destroying both, makes so little sense that it discredits this entire effort by the NYT endorsement board
Mark my words, the Public Editor will be hearing about this, when they hire one again!
Gotta give the NYT props, though, for this most backhanded of compliments
