Its intresting and sad to see how the memorial culture of the Holocaust changed so massivily since the AfD reached power in 2015. In Saxony they are actual strongest parti but not in goverment. Was it @BjoernHoecke who described the Holocaust memorial as " Monument to Shame"
Alexander Gauland the Nazi time and its crime as" bird shit in thousend years of sucesfully German history". And also Gauland sayed:

or Alice Widel is describing foreginers as "running knivemans and headscarf girls". Then the people are nothing more then disgusting ignorants and xenophobic rassists. How others can you describe these words of people wich just hate people for their existence...
We germans will never allow this people to take power or further support them. But just because the politics herr a fu**ed and the politics attacks the AFD and gives them massiv attention, only because of that the AFD got that what it is now. The fear of many germans.
And a decleared enime of the EU, foreginers, enviorment, woman rights, history deniers, wich would wipe out the Holocaust out of every educational book. And today I realized the German news outlets are even so far to discuss if this memory of the Nazi time has to change?
So I ask them are the insane? Why do we need to change ? Just because people dont want to hear it anymore? It might be true its a lot bashed on us and even if nearly the entire generation is not guilty, we have to secure that we and the world will never forget the crimes.
How can you tolerate the nearly entire wipe out of a ethnic religion group? Sure it wasnt the first and only time in history this happened for example the Armenian genocide, the genocide in Korea, China, Cambodia or actual Bangladesh. But there is one huge diffrence.
We destroyed giantic parts of the world Japans war of supremecy included too. Wich Japan dosnt even try to talk about, same with korea and China. 2012 in Korea the first time talks were published about sex slaves for Japanese soldiers at the front. And the wipe out of korean
culture from 1910-1945 (1910 was offical annexetion, 1905 occupation). It was a cultural genocide. After ww2 most news in korea were japanese. But this is hidden in japan. I m must say we germans accpeted that whats happened and it frustrats us to know that this happened.
But we have no choice but we cant say to be happy or sad that we talk about that. After all it was still the most disgusting and violent act of genocide in human history. 6 Million jews alone that would be today like the wipe out of Nicaragua or Singapoor. Maybe we
must evolve with the memory of worldwar 2 and also must start to talk about crimes against Germans witch is until this day not talked in Germany of shame being discriminated of Nazi crimes itself. I think this would be a point the soceitiy has to start talking about.
Like also about the mostly violent removing of 12 million germans out of entire europe wich lived there for mostly for more then 200 years. one last surriving group of ethnic germans you can find in Romania. Witch did fight with the Nazis suffered and changrd sides at the end.
I think its our problem to make diffrences in the ww2 crimes between crimes by Nazis and crimes against Germans as revenge. It shouldnt be a justification in anyways its just a fact and the fear of us and the goverment getting shown our dark past. But we know the world
loves to show us the Nazi card. Like Erdoğab did 2015 and I personaly wont forget him as he described my goverment as bunch of Nazis. And more that my goverment still follows his orders...You can see it how you want in tve kurdish area or Turkey whats going on there.
Kurds saying the turkish kill us, the Turks say they kill us. And both can be right or wrong...The Holocaust should us warn not to ignore the crimes of war or war itself. But i think yes we maybe must slowly start to talk about crimes german inocent citizens wich were victims too
And its not okay to say all were Nazis. It would be like saying every Iranian is a follower of the Mullahs or all Venezulanian people are follower of Maduro. Its simply not true. If we dosnt start anytime in Germany it maybe evolvs anytime into a disrespect and ignorance
of facts and the sad reality of the Holocaust/ shoa wich dosnt mean that they forget just the do start to care less about it. And we germans already have no national spirit and dont want any. No one ever would proudly say into a camera he is proud being German if he is not
far right. But saying we need help with the crimes other nations done to us will never work... But alone dosnt work too. And ignorance of Japan against crimes against koreans resulted in a horrebile relations with South korea and Japan. Both started a trade war because of that😞.
We should never forget history and shouldnt start a ww3 again...It would be our own death and humanity wouldnt surrive. We must find peace and this begins with dealing of crimes witch were done in wars.. And best example is Germany.
We spend huge effort and power to find friends in europe and a special relation with Poland and Israel we shouldnt forget how important and under how much protest relations were etablished. On this point of accepting the dark crimes wich were done and find solutions
with the enime. That would be something that maybe for example the scarred middle east could maybe anytime explore with relations to Israel. At the end we are all humans...
