I accepted, travelled to the location and was directed to a hall, go there the groups members were there with lawyers

Group were investors, they received statement of performance, did not understand it, sued firm.
They figured the "Lagos" boys wont show up for trial, so they wrote the nice letter...to bait.

There i was far from base, no lawyer, no legal note, facing a stern looking magistrate

I proceeded as my defence council to explain the statement of account and even pull up SEC laws to show the Magistrate. Magistrate agreed with me.😇😇

Learned a key lesson that day.
Do not operate in a silo in any organisation, learn all you can about that organisation. Don't say, "i am just an analyst"..
As long as you work for any organisation, you can be asked "CEO" questions ANYTIME
(and always carry bail money in cash)
