Let's not mince words. Trump is abetting an attack on our country. The news that he raged over the intel on Russia's new electoral sabotage is already shrouded in euphemism, as if "partisanship" is hampering our response. That's nonsense. New piece:

It's being argued that House Repubs legitimately don't think the intel shows Russia wants to *help Trump.*

Unlikely. But even if this were possible, it's not exonerating!

This is still an attack on our democracy. And Trump views it as helpful to him.

In a sense, Trump wants his intelligence agencies to function as an army of Roger Stones. Rather than alerting Congress about outside interference in our election, Trump wants them to keep it under wraps, just as Stone tried to cover it all up in 2016.

Trump is now spreading rank conspiracy theories in the face of coronavirus. This isn't just Trump "flooding the zone with chaos." It's much more pernicious. Trump is trying to dodge accountability for his own response to a public emergency. New piece:

There is a big public health threat looming. But Trump is raging over the *market reaction* to it. And he's persuaded himself that warnings about this public threat from *his own officials* are to blame:

The data we have (from @VividSeats) is truly incredible. In every county, we have a record of the share of concert/etc ticket sales that fall into each genre in 2015/19. Here's that map (with each county scaled for population). Cities like rap/hip hop. Rural areas like country.
The music genre that most correlates with Republican vote share is, as you might expect, country music. A preference for "New Age" music (whatever that is) and Rock are also "red". Rap, Hip Hop & R&B, as mentioned, are "blue" music—as is liking alternative artists or Latin music.
