The second time in less than a week, #IDF troops have opened fire on #Palestinians near Khan Younis. This time a group was identified approaching the #Gaza border fence & placing an IED on it. Last week a PIJ sniper cell fired towards troops.

#Palestinian Islamic Jihad says the fatality in the clash this morning with #IDF troops was 27yr old Muhammad Ali al-Nai’m. He was a commander of the group’s military wing, the Al-Quds brigade in the Khan Younis area

The #IDF has published a video showing al-Nai’m and another suspect placing an explosive device near the fence. The military said cell is responsible for placing two other IEDs along the fence this month
