Now that Trump's purge is getting worse, we need to be clear: This isn't really "revenge against the Deep State." It's an active effort to remove obstacles to Trump's continuing degradation of the rule of law for thoroughly corrupt purposes. New piece:

When Trump demands prosecutions of enemies and rages at DOJ, the media treats this as if Trump *really thinks* the Deep State is out to get him.

That's a serious error. He's actually removing obstacles to *his own* ongoing corruption. And it's working:

Trump is now spreading rank conspiracy theories in the face of coronavirus. This isn't just Trump "flooding the zone with chaos." It's much more pernicious. Trump is trying to dodge accountability for his own response to a public emergency. New piece:

In the face of a threat like coronavirus, we count on public officials for neutral, unpoliticized information. But Trump has corrupted everything with his use of government to validate lies and his nonstop war on neutrality. That's combustible. New piece:

There is a big public health threat looming. But Trump is raging over the *market reaction* to it. And he's persuaded himself that warnings about this public threat from *his own officials* are to blame:

Today is going to be procedural stuff. The Senate will have to approve the (completely BS) rules proposed by McConnell. Dems will offer amendments, of course, but since a simple majority rules I don't have a lot of hope any of the amendments will pass. #Trump #ImpeachmentTrial
For those of you just tuning in, McConnell is proposing that this trial have:

Zero witnesses
Zero admitted evidence
Ridiculously little time set aside for opening arguments and questions.
As little sunlight as possible.

Trump rally live. Starts at 7:00pm but RSBN has the pre rally on now.

The arena holds almost 21,000 and is in Broward county. That's deep blue btw and the place is packed ....if that doesn't scare the hell out of the Dems I not sure what will. This would be like Pocahontas pulling 20,000 people in Alabama.
