The attack on the Washington State Governor (“that Governor was a snake”) was a spiteful effort to deflect his administration’s failings onto a Governor who was left to try and deal with the fall out.

Then the contradictions, misinformation, boastful bluster and lies..

There they were in the Scientific Institution supposed to instil Trust that the US is on top of the science & management of the new #CV19 and Trump did not hesitate to contradict Azar in his presence, who is on the #CV19 task force, but also Pence who is “leading” the task force

And he definitely didn’t want those people off the Grand Princess moored off the coast of California, with large number of American passengers on board who had sailed from California - SAN Francisco - and Hawaii...because it would make the NUMBERS look bad.

He doesn’t want the numbers of sick people to represent the true numbers of sick people. That is astonishing.

Describing all the tests as “beautiful” is bizarre especially in the context that one of the three assays in the early roll out were faulty.

Trump had a relative that was good at science so he, Trump, had inherited the genes of his uncle who “was a great person. He was at MIT. He taught at MiT..he was a great super genius. Dr John Trump”

No. The world was not relying on the US to deliver on COVID-a good job too.

The WHO had sent its version of the #COVID19 tests to 57 countries.
But the USA declined.

Why the USA would not use them is still a mystery.

China was conducting 1.6 mill tests a week with 5 test sets

S Korea testing at the rate of 10k a day and with a capacity for 15k.

Whilst the CDC said over 5k tests had been done it tiurns out that this was not over 5k people and sometimes more than one tests has to be done per person.

Just over 1800 people was nearer the mark.
