Cementing your organic alliance with the vulnerable in society (rich or poor is immaterial) need not have you physically be in their position but demonstrate your empathy, concern, commitment and care towards their plight. This is why they are destroying education to confuse all.

It is quite unfortunate that SLS doesn’t want what most people hunger for. Just like me he knows it’s an effort in futility to become a politician when you are a gifted and focused Advocate. No one can dethrone you from being yourself. Remain uniquely you & lead from there.
SLS is not seeking to become a champion of the cause of the poor in the context most have been erroneously led to believe. Poverty in this context is lack of productivity which is why he speaks against institutional dereliction/harmful cultural practices which deter productivity.
SLS’ major crime is his refusal to attenuate his intellectual depth and reasoning capabilities as many have done. There is a conscious need for people to become foolish in order to display loyalty under the worst of aberration but SLS refused to submit to this & thus the knives.
SLS achieved his dreams to be Emir but now he’s got to dream bigger because he’s got a new lease now beyond holding a position that makes him a prey of Governors & other political office holders who are Hell bent on maintaining & entrenching the culture of impunity & poverty.

The thread is neither about venerating SLS nor pedestalizing him. It is about pointing out the activities of the enemies of our progress as a nation and how they silence people who decides to break the chains of oppression. You really don’t have to be poor to do this.
The corruption & the dereliction of our judiciary however revealed itself with the speed at which our bribe offerings SANS manipulated the corrupt bench into granting a speedy hearing to the case filed, heard & granted same day when we know how they usually delay critical cases.
While CBN Governor, SLS made quite a few blunders as captured by the FRCN on the record of which the President got the report upon assumption of power in 2015. He also had his share of slips with ladies which simply made him human & fallible. No one is painting him a Saint.
The case in point here is the violation of rights, redeeming the future of coming generations by educating our young and curbing weaponized poverty. He is more than qualified to speak on these issues & nothing he has done in the past disqualifies him from speaking against ills.

When they’ve lost the argument they resort to slander & forlorn attempt to discredit another. My job as an analyst has nothing to do with the prediction of tomorrow based on facts of yesterday but to respond strategically using my faculties & intuition based on current realities.
