We don’t know is whether shortening the bout weakens any natural immunity so I hope they develop an anti body test that can be trialed with people who have taken it.

But if this DOES work it seems to me that one change in strategy is that more early stage treatment is necessary

That also means much much more testing, but testing & early effective treatment particularly of the most at risk groups would lessen the pressure in ICU and that is likely to be critical here

So Hazmat suits/PPE gear to protect NHS staff

Much more early testing

Early treatment

Then more testing to check that clear.

Then antibody tests (as soon as developed) of a large enough group to see if getting infected with and without treatment results in increased immunity.
