And, like I've been proposing for about 2 years now, we need to involve ALL Americans, and we have a path to do that: the democratic party's infrastructure, with requests for assistance trickling down from leadership to precinct committeepersons, and supply chain mgmt passing up.
PCPs can identify and recruit businesses and individuals with necessary skills in their own neighborhoods and cities, and pass them up the chain.
PCPs or county leaders can take requests for assistance from hospitals + other med professionals, passing up until it can be met.

Need masks, parts? PCPs should know all the locals with 3D printers, sewing skills, machining skills.
Need specs or expertise that doesn't exist locally? A nationwide pool of talent can be leveraged to reverse-engineer parts - those requests can be fulfilled from the top.

And where there are no PCPs, someone needs to step into filling that role. Contact a committeeperson for a neighboring precinct and volunteer.
