We must win back state legislatures across the nation. State legislatures draw congressional districts. The 2020 census is crucial.
With fascists dominant in states, gerrymandering lets them remain dominant also in the House of Representatives.

Permanent fascist control of the Senate is possible too, as fascists move to repeal the 17th Amendment. The 17th changed the Constitution to provide for The People to elect Senators. Previously, they were chosen by state legislatures.

If fascists control the states, then, with the 17th gone, fascists would control the Senate. If they control the Senate, they control the federal court. If they control federal courts, legal challenges to fascist laws and fascist regulations become impossible.

Notice too, that the Constitution allows for a Constitutional Convention if 2/3 of the States (34 of them) decide to call one. If GOPhascists control 34 states, they WILL call a Convention, and dramatically alter the Constitution.

Think about things Republicans have pushed for--English as a national language, prayer in schools, Christianity as national religion, restrictions on protest and on the press, ban on abortions... the list only begins there.
