Countless pieces on Trump voters, but we can count on one hand the number of Hillary voter pieces. Misogyny: we're soaking in it.

I remain proud of my Hillary vote. I voted for a woman I admire, one who has worked hard her entire life & has dedicated herself to helping us. It's beyond nuts that every time we voice support for her we have to qualify it with, "Look, I know she's not perfect..."
What other candidates supporters have to hedge like this up front? If people even recognize that we exist ("Nobody likes Hillary"), they want us to justify all the false claims against her which have been circulating for 25 years. We are expected to apologize for her continuously
I knew coming into the election that if Hillary won we'd see a staggering amount of sexism, just as Obama's election unleashed a staggering amount of public racism. But I didn't expect that misogyny to be that strong, just as a fish is the last to know the water in which it swims

I can't find the only other piece I've seen which talked to non-Trump voters, which profiled minority voters in a red area. I had thought it was a Toronto Star piece for some reason, but when I ran across it a couple of months ago I saw it was Mother Jones.
So. 3 pieces this year on some of the 65 million who opposed Trump, 2 of whom focused specifically on Hillary voters, vs. an entire industry churning out Trump pieces. Seems a little...out of balance.
We are tired of being ignored and belittled, of being told to sit down and shut up. We are tired of having our candidate, who was the superior choice last November, mocked and lied about.
And y'know what? Even if every terrible thing people say about Hillary was true, she'd *still* have been the superior candidate, because in all the scandals & investigations over the years, no one has ever laid a glove on her. All the smoke which surrounds her comes from machines
If it were all true yet she still stands, then she'd be some badass supervillain who deserved to come out on top of the total incompetent who sits in the White House. And we'd be better off for it. (And we'd have those taco trucks on every corner that we'd been promised!)
