RANT THREAD: Lemme get this straight: Reporters had Trump right in front of them, but didn't ask a single question about the slush fund full of corporate and Russian money that his lawyer, who was negotiating and paying his NDA's, had? But they asked if he deserves the Nobel? 1/
Listen, I get there is a lot going on in the world but there was too, when I repeatedly begged media to just ask him directly if he knew of Michael Cohen's payments to Stormy Daniels. For weeks I harped on it, often getting angry responses. 2/ 
Then, one reporter, @catherine_lucey asked him what I had begged a reporter to ask. The result - the dam broke on the entire story about Trump, Cohen, Stormy, the NDAs, and more. I get reporters might be nervous about asking Trump these questions, but they HAVE to be asked. 3/
And so, when you have a photo spray, and Trump is right there, and there's news breaking about his lawyer having this slush fund of corporate and Russian money that could be used to pay off Trump's NDA's, it is simply INSANE that no reporter asked him directly about it. 4/
Also, not for nothing, but Trump just threatened to revoke credentials of reporters who report negative things, so for press to look like they're avoiding asking the tough questions, right now, from an "optics" standpoint, looks bad. Just a PR tip. 5/
End of the day, because there's been no formal solo press conference, reporters HAVE to use every single second they get with Trump. To waste question time on if he thinks he deserves a nobel, while ignoring Cohen news, is a huge failure. 6/6
