Sounds purdy good but this is all dramatics and rehearsed. For example Ri launched a rehearsed monologue with a pithy Chinese letter phrase he wanted to use for the occasion: 막역지우: 莫逆之友. Means deep, unbreakable friendship that can last a lifetime

Did Ri come up with the phrase on his own? There's nothing spontaneous from the NK side. Plus he's not that erudite. But the most important thing he said is: "We can discuss another meeting in Pyongyang; it will hopefully fulfill what Korean people desire"

That suggests he's open to the idea of another inter-Korean summit. Plus at least during the monologue portion, he didn't air displeasure re SK taking part in UN- and US-led sanctions against NK. He may later but the amicable tone has been set at least for the morning session
Some people were expecting another half-threatening or shoe-banging moment after what happened at the last high-level meeting on June 1. We been spared
The 3rd inter-Korean summit will take place in September in Pyongyang: "We have agreed to hold another inter-Korean summit in Pyongyang within the month of September." Remember, Sep 9 is NK's nation founding day. So will likely be after that date

As mentioned, it will have to be mid or late September since parades and celebrations for the nation-founding day will get in the way of preparation. Arirang mass games, military parades and "Brilliant Fatherland" all planned for the founding day
