The reason? The mid-terms are safe. There is no need right now.

7) The left is putting everything they have left into these mid-terms. They are going to be massively demoralized and weakened. They'll have a lot of people out of power which can no longer resist.

8) If this were a chess game, it would be the equivalent of having a piece well defended, but well positioned for attack. The opponent can't attack the piece, so you have an opportunity to strengthen your position.

So you move a new piece into attack.

9) It may take longer to develop the attack, but by waiting and developing a stronger position, you have a much higher chance of success.

Remember, @POTUS is not thinking about whether taking these people down will succeed... that's a done deal, he's thinking about...
