So, what does the #WithdrawalAgreement say on climate and the environment?

It says the UK and EU will remain committed to their international #climate targets, naming the #ParisAgreement specifically.

It says both the UK and EU will respect the precautionary principle, and embed the polluter pays principle in its environmental regulation.

(Pretty debatable how much both parties currently embed those principles, but that's for another day)

Significantly, it says there must be "non-regression" on environmental protection. That means UK can't lower environmental standards below the level they're at when the transition period ends.

That applies to air pollution, biodiversity, and climate change.
