Today, on December 6th, we remind ourselves of the terrorists who demolished a mosque and killed thousands 26 years ago. They are in power and we are voting soon. Today, we collectively emphasise our spirit and strength in the fight against Hindutva and its terrorism.
Equally important to note that the spineless "liberalism" espoused by the Congress isn't the answer in the long term. Rajeev Gandhi will never be forgiven for what he did. It was Congress which facilitated such a situation and the subsequent growth of Hindu nationalism.
Every year, on this day, when I see the hashtag #ShauryaDiwas, I go into this deep philosophical deliberation with myself about how low wretched and deplorable humans are capable of behaving. Today reminds India that there's no limit for hatred and bigotry.
