#ElizabethWarren is one case among many thousands over the centuries of US Americans playing Indian. It seems that many are incapable of understanding how such actions are anti-Indigenous. such claims would have no traction if not for Indigenous genocide & ongoing erasure of us.
You will see in Indigenous voices highlighted in these tweets, not total agreement, but more complex analyses than those constituting non-Native standpoint analyses of us. "Standpoint" means that we are not informants to or stereotypes in non-Native scripts. We write the script.
