1/ As you may have noticed, I visited snowy #Austria recently. My aim was to do a story on town of #ZellAmSee which is very popular among Arab tourists.
Due to its natural beauty, many tourists from Gulf view this as "paradise on earth".

2/ Yearly 300.000 Arab tourists visit Austria. 150.000 (!) of them go to town of Zell am See, which itself only has 9.000 inhabitants.
So #ZellAmSee is very popular among Arab tourists. Some sign boards now in Arabic. Town happy because Arab tourists bring in lots of money.

3/ Most Arab tourists in Zell am See are from the Gulf. Especially during summer, they escape the heat in Gulf and enjoy Zell am See's lush green mountains &beautiful lake.
But Arabs now also come in winter. They typically stay a week &then continue to Vienna or other parts EU.

4/ Most areas in the Arab Gulf of course never get snow. So especially among Arab kids, seeing snow for the first time is a huge thing.
