Check out #RegimeChange4France, the latest goofy invention of far-right Twitter. This appears to be (among other things) a pro-LePen hashtag campaign being conducted largely by individuals who do not actually vote in France. #AltWankers

We downloaded tweets containing #RegimeChange4France, resulting in 6849 tweets from 3602 accounts. The hashtag started midday Saturday 1/26. @JackPosobiec, @willchamberlain, and @CassandraRules are the most prominent nodes in the network.
Where did the #RegimeChange4France hashtag originate? The first tweet containing the hashtag is a reply to @JackPosobiec from @_YvonneBurton. Posobiec then purloins the hashtag and is the one to send it viral.
#RegimeChange4France retweet network, limited to mutual retweeters. The network is centered on @JackPosobiec, who appears to be amplifying the hashtag by retweeting the tweets containing it from those who boost his own tweets.

Correction: there is data missing from the dataset used, which only contains tweets within the past 10 days. These tweets and their retweets comprise 4.7% of the total #RegimeChange4France volume. The only thing that changes with the new data is the "who tweeted it first" chart.
We appreciate the heads up from @willchamberlain, and also note that the #RegimeChange4France hashtag having been used in July 2018 indicates that a joke based on an event in January 2019 is unlikely to be the only thing that is going here.
