BREAKING: 1/ Along with our partners at the @ACLUTx and 11 others, we have sent another demand letter to the @TXsecofstate demanding he take immediate action to fix his voter purge debacle. We are demanding that he: 1) rescind the original Advisory at the heart of this mess.
2/ Instruct all counties that have sent notices to individuals on the basis of the voter purge list to immediately retract such notices and cease sending out any further notices.
3/ And that, moving forward, any guidance provided to counties, whether supplemental to the initial Advisory or otherwise, be communicated in writing and available to the public for their review.
