@jimsciutto Actually there are different perspectives. I took the time to look up & read many papers with broader perspectives. Models are incomplete & only include anthropogenic factors. Glaciers r melting, sea levels rising, navy ports under threat. Causes r multivariate.
@jimsciutto 2) Models don’t include effects of the sun, astounding as it sounds nor suboceanic lava flows on heating Pacific & acidity. Two physicists papers clearly show solar effects but CO2 only team denies this & r rewriting ice ages history to confound the subject.
@jimsciutto 3)I doubt Trump’s climate panel has read the solar physics papers, but there are model omissions that ignore natural earth processes. Dr. JudithCurry just retired from GA Tech Earth Science describes earth dynamics holistically.She’s been pushed out.
@jimsciutto 4) Like the Inquisition, heretics must be silenced. All these complex factors matter. I don’t like term “climate change” bcz it’s imprecise & disempowering, saying cutting CO2 is all we can do. Reforestation is a prime example of actions available & sustainability as goal.
@jimsciutto 5) Some companies build in sustainable business practices but these must meet same ROI criterion as any other project. Learn from places like The Netherlands where they’ve been dealing both with floods & cows for decades. In summary technology can save us but will take decades
@jimsciutto 6) Now the Biggest Omission:The single factor most impacting Earth’s well being is the number of people. The best way to save the earth while raising the standard of living is the EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN! They’ll take care of population & reinvest in their communities.
