Again: Of course the US should recognize Israeli sovereignty on the Golan. Of course the embassy should be in Jerusalem. Of course officials should visit the Kotel with whoever they damn well please. If your take is "but it might help Bibi so don't"--please go take a nap.
Jews have rights. Jews have humanity. Jews have history. And if for partisan political reasons it bothers you to see the assertion of Jewish humanity, I could not possibly care less, nor could I pretend you're adding something useful to the conversation. Happy Purim!

Yair Lapid is not opposed to recognition on the grounds that it'll help Bibi--*who he's running against*--because he's not an American pundit consumed by partisan pettiness. But I'm sure lefties on twitter here speak for him.

1. One of the things that made for stupid unnecessary fights during this Omar saga was the sheer amount of “reaction policing”—ppl whose contributions to the antisemitism debate consisted of telling Jews to just calm down. Perhaps that’s a function of this particular hellsite.
2. There was a writer at a major pub who writes forcefully on race, so I assumed he’d understand the pain. But he spent two days trolling Jews’ timelines to call them racist for objecting to antisemitism. Knew he could be caustic, but didn’t realize he’s just a complete dirtbag.
3. I think it’s clear if you go looking for Jews to spit at over antisemitism, and then when they hit back you play the victim, you are likely just a genuinely bad personal. But it’d be better for everyone if you didn’t demonstrate that at times like this.

I think it’s clear those condemning giant rat-Jew parade floats are doing so in bad faith. How many ppl condemning the giant rat-Jew parade floats are silent about Kevin McCarthy?
We have millions of uninsured and the planet has 12 years left but we’re talking about giant rat-Jew parade floats because the Republicans are trying to distract us while they push old folks off cliffs.

By recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Hts, Trump is reversing 50+ yrs of US policy and international consensus, both of which hold that Golan is occupied territory and thus subject to Israeli withdrawal. /1
This is in keeping with other Trump policies like recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and dropping references to “occupied” territory from USG reports--all of which are designed not to roll back Israel’s occupation but to legitimize and normalize it. /2

Golan Heights was illegal occupied and no international organization( including UN) or foreign state recognize it as belonging to the Z entity.
It is an occupied( illegally) Syrian territory.
It does, however, have plenty of Oil and "Genie oil company"
is eager to exploit it.
