Heavy D shaves a couple more lives off. I like how Ron Nordland calls him a "protege of the CIA". Little does he know. The CIA refused to work with D in 2001 until overridden by SF. He then defeated the talibs. nytimes.com/2019/03/31/wor…

Nordland links an old Carlotta Gall article which doesn't actually substantiate his claim of thousands killed nor does he provide the real reason why the talibs hate Dostum. Because he is the First VP and defeated them to a surrender? nytimes.com/2001/12/11/wor…
