Not attacking him but I find the line from @nytmike (and others) that Barr is frustrated that Mueller left it to him to make call on obstruction seems on a gut level wrong. Seems far more likely that Mueller wanted CONGRESS to make the call.
(Obviously he has many sources and I have none. But otoh, sources spin.)
Anyway, I am a fan @nytmike's reporting and the way he draws out "corrr-ECT"

Shocker: Bill Barr—appointed AG after giving Trump a 19-page memo saying Trump didn't obstruct justice—just exonerated Trump of obstruction of justice. Mueller specifically said "this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him"
Mueller couldn't establish corrupt intent for obstruction of justice b/c Trump refused to talk w/ investigators. W/o putting Trump under oath, Barr exonerates him. Barr was put in charge of DOJ to salvage the GOP—even if it meant letting Trump get away with everything. Shameful.
.@JeffreyToobin points out the impropriety of AG Barr concluding no obstruction of justice when the whole point of appointing a special counsel was b/c Trump’s political appointees—like AG—have an inherent conflict of interest. And now we see, AG Barr is indeed Trump’s lackey.

Maybe he knows one of Mueller’s lines of investigation led to him. And he knew staying in that position of power was too steep a conflict of interest in light of the overwhelming and damning facts against Trump he may have gotten wind of.
Ppl need to remember we’re dealing w/potential historic US Constitutional changes in light of Trump’s abuses of Office.

Who’s to say the SC office hasn’t ‘already’ secretly conferred with the Justices over the Constitutionality of this Trump debacle?
