This thread is primarily for everyone who offers coaching programs or consultancy services.
I discovered something that is very worrisome and I hope to use this thread to help you keep yourself on the winning edge
And these people are usually at different points of their lives and careers. Some are at terrible lows, while others are doing great but just need higher ground
So you try to move them from point A to point B
What this means is that you have to go down all the way to point A to pull them up to point B.
Now this is where things can get bad for you and your business.
Please follow closely, I'll try to explain this as clearly as possible.
At this point, you may begin to feel like you are so good, but what's actually happening is, you just went down low and started masturbating...
If you are not careful, you will soon become mediocre and so will your coaching business.
Your growth will stunt and you will begin to attract clients who just pull you down further.
This becomes worse if the initial client isn't really growing, but is
At this point, you stop working on yourself or doing things that make you grow.
You revel in how good you are and stunt.
This is why we hear of marriage counselors who experience failure in marriage.
Why?
Maybe they stopped growing
You must realise that whatever took you to the top has to sustain you there.
So how do you guard against this?
Keep learning! How?
1. Keep reading books.
So you have a bestseller and that means you will not read books again?
Don't get so busy you don't have time to read. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Z all still read.
2. Buy courses and coaching programs.
This is another way to learn. Rare gold is usually buried in good courses and coaching programs.
This will help you to be accountable
Notice I always mention @ronaldnzimora?
I have his notification on. I feed on every of his tweet. I want to understand and learn his thinking, because he is a proven mentor.
Find mentors and feed on their mind
The problem I mentioned here can easily make you lose sight of your goal in the first place.
You have to be sure to constantly go back to those goals and be sure you are on track.
5. Set bigger goals each time.
Let each new goal be bigger than the last.
If you have people who spur you or who push you to be better, it will help you keep your coaching business in check.
That's why @HQawiyy roll.
You need people who raise the bar. Not just people who drink at the bar.
Don't fall into a level that makes you begin to see yourself as having arrived when you should be yearning for more.
Coaching and consultancy is beautiful when your calibre of clients go on the upward rise.
And I'm guessing that you'll add a pointer or two if you feel the need to.
2019 still remains the year to smash your wildest goals.
