Israel formally disengaged from Gaza in 2005, both withdrawing its entire military presence from the region and dismantling all of its settlements. Since 2007, Hamas, deemed a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union, has controlled the region.
After coming under the fire of 700 rockets unprovoked, "real justice" would have been Israel responding with 700 rockets of their own instead of a few targeted airstrikes intended to take out Hamas / Islamic Jihad terrorists.
Considering that Gaza's population density significantly outranks Israel's, that would have caused hundreds if not thousands of fatalities rather than dozens.

So no, "real justice" would bring neither "security" nor "peace."
The "endless cycle of violence" would cease if Gazans removed the literal terrorist organization now in power (officials in Gaza have managed to avoid holding elections for 13 years), or if said terrorist organization were to stop launching barbaric attacks at Israel unprompted.
