So I listened to this bonkers podcast twice. First, her hatred of Israel and Netanyahu is palpable. It’s clear she supports a one-state solution to punish Jews. Second, she mentions TWICE how Palestinians suffered to create the state of Israel. Not just a Holocaust safe haven...
She isn’t referring directly to the Holocaust, per say. She suggested that Palestinians were killed, persecuted in order to create the state of Israel after WW II. And it’s clear she wants revenge.
On behalf of Palestinians, she’s taking credit for the creation of Israel - and not in a good way.

What’s interesting about her rant is she can’t even bring herself to say, “Israel.”

She blasts Netanyahu repeatedly, accusing him for destabilizing the region and dehumanizing her grandmother (?)

She’s organizing a trip to visit “occupied territories” of Palestine in August...
Tlaib supports a one-state solution that would make Jews a minority in Israel. She compares the plight of Palestinians to that of black Americans.

She supports BDS and just appeared with Linda Sarsour at an impeachment rally.

She also suggested that it’s racist that Canada and not our other “border communities” is our largest trading partner and they can come here for extended visits.

A lot of ppl have asked me about my personal feelings towards #Israel, so here goes: I grew up in a fundamentalist Islamic home where I was taught to hate Jews to an irrational degree. The hate was divinely ordained.
It was my duty as a Muslim and as the daughter of a Palestinian to hate them, though I never had any personal reason to. Every Jewish person I met was lovely to me (I wore hijab at the time) and some would refer to me as their cousin.
But I was taught that they were lying and pretending and that secretly they were poisoning us all etc. When I became an atheist, the hate for all Jewish ppl was no longer divinely ordained, but I was still sure Israel deserved my hate.

One insidious, sneaky-but-in-your-face thing the left loves to do is change definitions. They can take any contentious issue and, by changing words, change the argument - change the narrative.
(1)
Probably the most common example is "pro-choice" replacing pro-abortion. Then, there are all the "reforms" - handgun "reform", immigration "reform", education "reform", etc, etc.
(2)
All of this wordplay - these euphemisms - are crafted so as to eventually change people's perception of the issue each describes. And they always do. Take "pro-choice", for instance.
