China has an entire program called the “Thousand Talents Program” where they train Chinese students and researchers in the US and other western countries to spy and steal research to bring back to the Communist state.
Thanks to our politicians who have enabled this, China was doing great investing in and snatching up US biotech companies and startups. Our politicians looked the other way until Trump came along, that is.
