1/ Let's break down the meaning of the expression "Go back" or "Go home". It actually means "Go away". It's simple: the authoritarian base has been saying it to USA indigenous peoples. It is illogical, right? After all, it's been their "home" for over 12K years.
2/ They also say that to African Americans: "don't like America, leave it". It means: you don't like us in power, disappear (as in "die"). They say it to Hispanics, whose ancestors have been here anywhere between 12K-25K years (or more).
3/ It basically means: "I don't care how I ended up here: I control some systems that can hurt you. So go away, no matter how legitimate your claim over the land is".
4/ They are what is known as an "interest group". Each one of us belongs to one and they are opposed to that one (the white nationalists). In a pluralistic democracy, the "game" is a power-play between interest groups avoiding open mass conflict (= civil war).
5/ Up to now, the game has approached and distanced itself from open mass conflict. History is not teleological (having one fixed direction), though. I'm getting bored with the lack of inter-disciplinary knowledge of commentators and the wild speculations in this respect.
6/ What matters is decrease the artificial notion of loyalty to a nation-state and increase the strength of ADHESION TO PRINCIPLES OF DEMOCRACY. The "Russians" are not enemies because "Russia" doesn't exist. What is referred to as "Russia" is actually the dominant
7/ class in that legally defined nation-state. They represent INTERESTS. Those interests are pretty much the same as the white nationalists' representatives in power in the USA. And they are opposite to the ones I, for example, espouse. Probably you too: democracy, equality, etc.
