For people with #epilepsy and other CNS disorders. Came across @SKLifeScience, part of a massive Korean conglomerate. This company is just making its inroads in America, and is *solely* dedicated to CNS, epilepsy treatments. Studies fascinating. Wish them all success.
@SKLifeScience By the way - I have zero relationship with them. Just came across their website yesterday (and it is the coolest website I have ever seen.) And was amazed to read about the meds they have in clinical trials.

1. I've considered becoming a full-time author for years. But I cant. Because of the @GOP.

I have a pre-existing condition and have struggled with getting health insurance much of my life. Their attack on coverage has been going on for 9 years....
@GOP 2...why the attack? There are those who say it is just because ACA is Obama. That is not it. Rich people pay more in taxes under ACA. That's all it is. The GOP would rather people die than someone with wealth have only 32 refrigerators instead of 34.

So they are in court....
@GOP 3...fighting to tear down the last vestige of ACA. Then they will come out and say "Oh, we will protect those with preexisting conditions. Here are high risk pools!" We've done them before. They are garbage. They do not work. But they don't cost rich people much. Then Fox...

1. As long as GOPrs like @brithume (who blocks me, feel free to tweet to him) deny Trump's tweets are racist, let's revisit the racism - and document destruction - displayed by Donald & Fred Trump through their refusal to rent to minorities. Key graphs of government lawsuit....
@brithume 2...a couple of cases in specifics - blacks who were told "no apartments" immediately followed by whites told "we have apartments"...
@brithume 3...then of course, there is the Trump agent who said the buildings were safe because they were "XXX" by the Mafia (can't make out word) and because there were no blacks in the area....

1. The man I met today tells how a Florida @GOP Cuban American flipped to @TheDemocrats: Fled Cuba with his family to Mexico, crossed US border, presented as refugee. Family kept together, treated well, allowed out, returned for scheduled hearing. Family granted asylum....
2...knows that, had trump been president, his family would have been torn apart, they would have been locked up and treated like criminals for following the law on refugee status. “These people don’t understand how asylum works,” he said. He and his whole family now Citizens....
3....I ask, do you support Trump? He replies, and I quote “You think I’m some sort of monster? I would never support those people. They are inhuman.”

Hopefully the “I’m too good to vote” people will hear the “I escaped this nightmare by the skin of my teeth” immigrants.

Many people seem unaware of the impact of depression on cognitive function (i.e. thinking abilities).

I discovered this when a few small replies I made recently on someone’s thread garnered a total of a few thousand likes (and still counting).

Impairment of cognition — meaning, impaired ability to think, remember, solve problems, etc. — is quite common in depression, and is a very common cause of cognitive complaints in medical practice overall.

There are two major reasons depression causes cognitive problems. /2
The first is that it makes you slower.

When you’re depressed, everything looks grey, and there’s no hope, so it’s awfully hard to motivate yourself to do things.

That includes thinking about things & solving problems. You might do it eventually, but it’ll take you longer. /3

part of the reason golf is so fascinating to me rn is basically that i just found out that it's not the least bit simple. like i always wondered what the fuck they put in golf digest etc. but it turns out there's controversies on controversies
from what i've gathered so far it seems like they're constantly banning and unbanning equipment and techniques. does this happen in football at this pace? maybe? but it seems like there's less equipment in most other sports?
one thing i've come across a *bunch* is that in 2016 the USGA banned "anchored putting", which is when you... yeah... when you... yeah.. .uh .. . . it's when you dig the end of your putter into your belly or shoulder to stabilize it. it looks Awful.
