Breaking: US National Security Advisor John Bolton says the US and UK could do some mini trade deals, sector by sector, within a year of Brexit (1)

Bolton named “different manufacturing sectors, industry, automobile sectors” as areas for early deals, but financial services would take longer: “That’s my message. We’re with you” (3)
Bolton also accused the EU of treating their voters like “peasants”: “The fashion in the EU when the people vote the wrong way from the way the elites want to go is to make the peasants vote again and again until they get it right” (4)
John Bolton also revealed Theresa May had refused to join the US naval mission in the Straits of Hormuz - Operation Sentinel - but Boris Johnson ripped up that decision last week and signed up (5)
Bolton also says Trump and Johnson are speaking over the phone up to twice a week: "Boris Johnson has been the Prime Minister for what, 18 days? They’ve already had 5 or 6 phone calls” (6)
